Sake is more susceptible to temperature changes than wine, but this is not widely known, even in Japan. We have partnered with altekna Co., Ltd. and Sakura Works Inc. in order to develop the world’s first Sake Cellar, a product which enables storage of sake at the optimal temperature of -5°C.

We have sought to remedy a problem often faced by non-Japanese speaking sake lovers being unable to make a memorable connection with sake they try, by developing the smartphone app "Sakenomy", which allows them to find out about sake and breweries by simply scanning a label.

Recognising the need to elevate sake culture in line with modern lifestyles, we have developed Nathand, a brand of original and stylish sakeware designed to specifically enhance the bouquet and flavour of sake.

First staged in 2016 at Roppongi Hills, Tokyo, CRAFT SAKE WEEK immediately gained recognition for being an event that went beyond the confines of established sake festivals, as well as for attracting the attention of a wider, more diverse audience.

Developing Products with Our Corporate Partners

Seeking to share the excellence of sake with a wider audience, we partner with like-minded breweries to forge inter-industry collaborations that lead to the creation of innovative products. By developing relationships with industries previously considered irrelevant to the field of sake, we are opening up a brand new realm of possibilities.

Gourmet Product Development

One issue the sake industry faces is making effective use of sake lees, a byproduct of brewing, and commoditising them into a new product. We have partnered with famous patisseries and longstanding Japanese confectioneries to develop new sweets featuring sake.
