We produce collaborative events where we work with Japanese chefs and breweries on the frontlines of innovating gourmet cuisine.
Japanese sake is gaining global attention, but it tends to be paired with classical Japanese cuisine. Our events eschew those conventions to try something bold and different.
Sakeware Design & Development
Recognising the need to elevate sake culture in line with modern lifestyles, we have developed Nathand, a brand of original and stylish sakeware designed to specifically enhance the bouquet and flavour of sake.
With sake being increasingly enjoyed in diverse contexts, we consider it our mission to present a wider range of vessels to aid its enjoyment around the world and foster a new, progressive sake culture.
Japanese Sake App
We have sought to remedy a problem often faced by non-Japanese speaking sake lovers being unable to make a memorable connection with sake they try, by developing the smartphone app "Sakenomy", which allows them to find out about sake and breweries by simply scanning a label.
Developing Specialist Sake Cellars
Sake is more susceptible to temperature changes than wine, but this is not widely known, even in Japan. We have partnered with altekna Co., Ltd. and Sakura Works Inc. in order to develop the world’s first Sake Cellar, a product which enables storage of sake at the optimal temperature of -5°C.
Developing Products with Our Corporate Partners
Seeking to share the excellence of sake with a wider audience, we partner with like-minded breweries to forge inter-industry collaborations that lead to the creation of innovative products. By developing relationships with industries previously considered irrelevant to the field of sake, we are opening up a brand new realm of possibilities.
